Season 44 Launch Evening – Saturday 20th May 2017
As you may be aware we are now rapidly approaching the official start of what will be our 44nd season of public appearances. It promises to be a very busy year for both team members and our newest intake with a packed calendar to take us across the summer months and into the autumn.
As in previous years we have decided to kick of the season with an evening of events that serve several purposes. This event will take place on Saturday 20th May. The evening is for parents and family will commence with doors open at 17:00. Display time is 17:15-17:30 then afterwards in the hall, we expect to finish around 21:30 – 22.00pm. It will be fantastic if you could join us for the whole evening. The Gymnasts will need to be at CVHS for 15:30 for practice run through.
We will be charging £2.00 per person admission for the display (Gymnasts and Adult Support included) and hope you will join us for a relaxing evening to end the week. We ask that you essay writing service bring your own snacks, picnics, feasts and drinks, alcoholic or otherwise………….it is the weekend after all!
The night begins with a full set of displays outside (weather permitting) that will showcase our gymnastic talents and introduce our new fledglings and give them the chance to make their first public display amongst family and friends.
The second part of the evening will move into the school hall for a more relaxed and fun series of events. We will be holding a Quiz evening, helping us to raise much needed funds to keep the team flying. There will be a raffle/tombola and the ever-popular auction of goods and promises. The evening will also see our newest team members presented with their much-coveted Blue Falcons shirts and the presentation of our annual team awards. It will be a busy but fun evening.
This is an opportunity for us to raise much needed funds that will help us to keep the team flying and the upkeep of the lorry. To continue to offer young people the chance to participate in such a rewarding activity. We gratefully ask not only for your support on the evening but in donations for raffle prizes, tombola prizes soft drinks and alcoholic and things for the auction. Auction items can be physical items or the promise of goods or a service that we can auction to the highest bidder………………..as long as its legal we will take it!
